AutotagMe explained in VIDEO

We are happy to announce new video that quite well explains what AutoTagMe is and how it’s going to help you tag and organize your images.

The idea is you take lots of photos every time you go on holiday. Of course, not just then, but that is dead obvious. You probable never take the time to go through all photos taken and select the once you really like. If you are having hard time organizing your photo collections like we do, then Autotag.me is perfect for you.

AutoTag.me is an online tool that magically tags your images and makes them easier to organize and find!

How does it work?

AutoTag.me allows you to upload your images from sources like Dropbox, Flick, Facebook and your hard drive. Then it automatically analyzes the pixel content and suggest relevant tags that describe the concepts, objects and colors found in each of the images. You can then add and remove tags and save them within the image itself or export them to popular online photo services.

Auto-tagging can save you a lot of time if you are a professional photographer, but it will also put your personal photo collections in order right away. Just type in the keywords describing the photo you are looking for and there you go! It is that simple!

Introducing Autotag.me

Autotag Me

Autotag.me aims to help people better organize their photos by providing relevent tags automatically. It’s not just magic, it’s serious technology, that’s been under dvelopment in Imagga Labs for over 3 years. We believe Autotag.me will help you find your photos

Acording to servey done by Suite 48 Analytics and published in GigaOM Pro, 76 percent of people that has been surveyed store photos on multiple devices, 52 percent of them store photos on multiple online services such as photo, social media or syncing sites. Two of the biggest needs of these people are being able to safely backup all their photos and second, but not least important – the ability to easy find and browse their images.

Currently we do not provide sulutions for image backup but have been focused on offering tools for photo discovery. Most of the tools currently on the market do rely on some features that help people cope with the constanly growing image numbers. The most common are  cross-source view, duplication handling (some use image recognition specially if Facebook photos are being aggrigated), geo and time detection, timeline. All these segnificantly reduce the time spent on image management and add great filtering capabilities.

At Imagga, we decided to add another demention to the photo discovery by automating the keword tagging of images. Very rarely somebody will take the time to  thoroughly and sistematecaly tag all their photos. It’s not only time consuming but also requires some serious lingustic skills. Autotag.me anlizes your images, tries to understand what’s on the picture and sugguest relevent keywords describing the image scene, concepts and composition. Later on we plan to add landmark and object recognition.

We will be making Autotag.me public quite soon, so if you are interested, sing in to get early invite. Any feedback will be higly welcomed.
